      The 1881 census seems to suggest that Elizabeth and her husband have parted ways, as he seems to be living in Ioha, America with 3 of their children and a new wife. Meanwhile Elizabeth seems to have moved back to Yorkshire. It also seems that their daughter Elizabeth never lived with her parents, being found in her grandmother's home from the tender age of 4 months old.
