• 4th of April 1763 ; ' We present George Gawler , Jacob Hayes and John Bond to be overseers of the poor for the year ensuing for the Parish of Broadway .'
• 1764; ' Paid George Gawler , ? Carter and Witheman House (?) rent - 3/3/6.' I'm not sure if this meant he was paid rents or if his rents were paid for him . '
• 2nd April 1764 :- ' It is agreed upon at the vestry meeting held this 2 day of Apral 1764 that ? will it law Mr. George Gawler one pound one shilling towards the prosecution of Richard Draw for stealing sheep .'
